Haakon VII (Prince Carl of Denmark) ascended the Norwegian throne as the result of a democratic election and and invite from the Norwegian Storting on 18. Nov. 1905, after the Norwegian separation from Sweden had been completed and formalized during the previous months. The chart is cast for the time of acceptance as quoted on the telegram from Prince Carl (time 21.05) in Denmark, but cast for the coordinates of the Norwegian Capital, Christiania, that later was to be renamed 'Oslo' in 1925. |
